This amp is version 2 with additional features and ease of fabrication. The display, in addition to the LCD screen features real-time LED bar graphs of power out and SWR. The filter band and other status are also indicated. The one button approach is very easy and intuitive to operate. The amp monitors: voltage, current, temperature, band, power in, power out, SWR, Gain. Band changing is automatic. A programmable input drive attenuator kicks in when over-driven or high SWR in the AUTO mode. You can program the attenuator to be IN continuous for reduced drive situations. Modes are: CW, SSB, Digital, Continuous duty. Computer controlled fan to cool the copper heat sink mounted RF transistors. Derived from a 140W Motorola RF Amplifier application note.
